A  bluesy, gospel, jazz rock with a little bit of country, describes Beverly Crosby as she sings her songs in and out of your hearts across the country.  Born in Pensacola, Florida, Ms. Crosby has certainly come a long way by singing in the church since she was a very young girl.  During her adolescent years, she began playing the piano for different churches within her community and has appeared on Rev. Goram Television Show.  With a spiritual and loving up bringing from her mother and grand parents, she has now developed a soul stirring sound with a message.

At the age of 20 years, her career brought her to New York City, there she joined The Patterson Singers, a gospel group, of Brooklyn, NY and toured West Germany and Switzerland,  It was only then, she reached a spiritual and meaningful vocal level.  This throughout the USA, Toru Oki Blues Band, throughout Japan, parts of Canada with Jimmy Handyman Jones, also toured the USA, Japan and Canada with Stuff, and went to Haiti and England with her band, Phoenixx.

Beverly not only sings, she acts as well.  She appeared in some Off-Broadway Productions such as, Tambourines To Glory, Sweet Stuff, Second Chance, Broadway Runs Through Harlem, Too.  Do Unto Others, Golden Express, and Wings Over Harlem.

“I hope my music and performance will trigger in my listeners the spiritual meaning and readiness of enjoyment!”

What Reviewers Had To Say

“This new artist has the ability to belt out a beauty of a tune.  Ms. Crosby’s vocals enhance the keyboard emphasis, which in turn adds to the lyrical concept.  It’s fantastic.”

 RECORDWORLD

“A Grand disco production in the New York style.  Ms. Crosby’s vocal is rhythmically precise, but an overpowering arrangement renders the subtleties of her bluesy voice somewhat indistinct.  Aimed at Disco, R&R programming.”

CASHBOX

“Crosby’s vocal performance is a standout on this fast-paced dance number-the singers, not the rhythm section, provide its driving energy throughout.”
